The Heart of Spirit
"Agape=Unconditional Love"
To restore harmony is to bury resentment
To release anger and to live in contentment
To rediscover the tranquility in all that we do
To center ourselves and fly with a Spirit true
To find beauty in the midst of all life's wrongs
To move in living water and refresh sweet songs
To take a crisis and find with in it a lesson learned
To remember that lesson with knowledge earned
To live for each other and send all life your love
Is to experience what it may be like in heaven above
When you can look at someone with eyes that are new
Can you tell someone who needs it a simple I love you."
My definition of: Agape
"Destiny"
"Moving toward a heavenly light
Spreading wings united in flight
Hand in had we know it is true
Souls refreshed in birth so new
In concert we unite with a song
Singing love for an eternity long
Hate will fade into our embraces
Turning frowns into smiling faces
As pastel colors begin to shower
A symphony of our Higher Power
As we stand against an evil force
Our ships sail in peacful course
Now we know not who we are
Soon we will all be a shining star"
"The Flavor of Life"
"The flavor of life is in the love that you share. The mystery of this is what you experience. Remember what you send out you will receive many times fold. So spread your love with tenderness and understanding. Make a difference in someone's life. You never know what will happen as a result of your actions. You just might save a life!"
Of Intelligence and Wisdom
Intelligence is not measured by the vast vocabulary you use. It is not evident in sentence structure or paragraphs utilized. It isn't even noted in the lofty way in which you expound. Intelligence can't even be found in our chosen vocations or avocations.
Intelligence is demonstrated in the way you exercise the measure of wisdom you have been given. Are you humble or arrogant in the way you impact the world around you? Do you respond in love and compassion to those less informed or react in haste with sharp biting words? Remember, "slow to anger but swift to forgive."
The next time we are given an opportunity to show what we have learned, let us all be very careful and empathetic to the people we are attempting to minister to. They may not be at our same levels and are actually "Devine Appointments" sent to us to receive what we have for them. Intelligence and Wisdom are gifts earned and are to be spent in good stewardship of what the Powers That Be have blessed us with.
We are all given opportunities everyday to be "Angels" in someone elses lives. May our "Light" illuminate the paths of others and not blind them into oblivion. Shall we spread our wings in Universal Consciousness and envelope the world with love and harmony?
I am guilty of transgressing my own words, yes. But we also must be aware that humans are frail and prone to hasty and thoughtless actions. I strive to work on my flaws. We are all diamonds, in my humble opinion, constantly being cut by the Great Jeweler. We will never be flawless. However we can be in constant motion toward the calling of our individual purposes and missions.
To be deemed worthy of being called intelligent and wise sometimes...

Inside Spirit
If we live in the light, as God is in the light, we can share fellowship with each other.
How wonderful it is, how pleasant, for God's people to live in harmony.
Be not forgetful to entertain strangers, for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.
This is what God asks of you, only this...To act justly,To love tenderly, andTo walk humbly with your God.

The Bible
But let there be spaces in your togetherness and let the winds of the heavens dance between you. Love one another but make not a bond of love: let it rather be a moving sea between the shores of your souls.
Kahlil Gibran

Protecting Our Children Online
Predator Tip Sheet
Eluding Internet Predators
One in five children who use computer chat rooms has been approached over the Internet by a pedophile.
Only one in four youth who received a sexual solicitation reported the incident to an adult.
i-SAFE Inc. has created this list of tips and reminders that can be used to help recognize these potentially hazardous situations and to respond appropriately.
• Keep user names and profiles generic and anonymous.
Discuss your child’s online screen name, profile, and activities. Many provide too much personal information. Ensure all screen names and profiles are nonspecific.
• Avoid posting personal photos online.
Pictures can be altered to embarrass or humiliate. They also provide personal information that can help an Internet predator act familiar by pretending to know you, your children, and/or their friends.
• Always keep private information private.
With just three pieces of personal information, specialized Internet search engines can be used to locate someone anywhere. Internet conversations should never include any personal information.
• Place the family computer in an open area.
A responsible adult should always accompany minors while they access the Internet to provide support and direction should they be confronted with an aggressive solicitation or inappropriate materials.
• Remind children that online "friends" are still strangers.
Predators trick their victims into believing that they have similar interests and groom children to desire a more intimate relationship. The reality is that online friends are still strangers, and your child can never be sure that the person is who he or she says.
• Respect children’s privacy.
Respect your child’s privacy, but make certain he or she knows everyone on his or her e-mail or instant messenger "Buddy" list. Work to generate parent and child trust that supports open and honest Internet use.
• Become a part of your child’s online experience.
It can be a fun journey to explore the wonders of the Internet as a family. As computer-savvy as kids and teens are today, they will certainly teach you a thing or two!
• Be aware of phone calls or mail deliveries from unfamiliar persons.
Predators often call or send gifts to their potential victims in their process of grooming.
• Learn about the Internet.
The more you know about how the Internet works, the better prepared you are to teach your children about how online predators operate and what you can do together to identify and elude them.
• Get involved with i-SAFE Inc.
Raise Internet safety awareness by joining, creating, or supporting an i-PARENT Board in your school or community, and informing other parents what they can do to keep their families safe online.
